Privacy policy

Updated October 24, 2026

This policy explains how we process personal data on notablia.com under Andorra's Llei 29/2021, del 28 d'octubre, qualificada de protecció de dades personals (LQPD) and, depending on where you live, the GDPR, the UK rules, Brazil's LGPD and US privacy laws. Notablia has no user accounts, newsletter or comments.

Controller

  • Controller: JAC DIGITAL HORIZON, SLU.
  • NRT (Andorran tax number): L-717460-V
  • Address: Carretera d'Erts, AD400 La Massana, Andorra.
  • Email: legal (at) notablia.com
  • Messages you send us (through the contact form or by email): your name, your email address and what you write. We use them to reply and handle your request. Giving us your email isn't required, but without it we can't reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive (Article 6.1.f of the LQPD) or, if you propose a partnership, steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6.1.b). We keep them as long as needed to handle your message; then they're deleted and only kept blocked for the period in which legal claims could arise (Article 30 of the LQPD).
  • Technical connection data: to serve the site, our hosting provider receives data such as your IP address and browser. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a site that works and is secure (Article 6.1.f).
  • Google Analytics, only if you accept: pages viewed, time on them, how you arrived, approximate country or region, device and browser, with an identifier stored in a cookie. We use it as totals to see which guides help and make them better. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6.1.a), which you can withdraw anytime with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page. We keep each visit's data for 2 months. Full details are in our cookie policy.

Our tools run in your browser: what you type into them and what they save on your device aren't sent to us. We don't sell data, build profiles or make automated decisions.

Processors and international transfers

We don't disclose your data to third parties unless the law requires it. These companies process data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): hosting, site security and delivery of the contact form.
  • Google LLC (United States): Google Analytics, only if you accept, with Google Signals and advertising features turned off.
  • Webempresa Europa, S.L. (Spain): email inboxes.

Cloudflare and Google are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which has a European Commission adequacy decision, and they also use the Commission's standard contractual clauses. The LQPD allows transfers based on EU adequacy decisions and on those clauses (Articles 43 and 44), and the APDA lists the United States, under that framework, among adequate countries.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or port your data (Articles 18 to 24 of the LQPD), and withdraw your consent anytime, by emailing legal (at) notablia.com or through the contact form. We reply within one month, which can be extended by two more months for complex requests (Article 15.3).

If you think we haven't handled your data properly, you can complain to the Agència Andorrana de Protecció de Dades (APDA), online or in person (Article 61), or to the authority in your country (see below).

Depending on where you live

  • United States: we don't sell or share personal information for advertising, as defined by California's CCPA and similar state laws, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your state gives you the right to know, correct or delete your data, email us at the same address.
  • European Union: because Notablia offers its content to people in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Article 3.2) also applies. Andorra has a European Commission adequacy decision (Decision 2010/625/EU). Your rights are the ones above, and you can complain to the authority in your country.
  • United Kingdom: the UK GDPR and PECR apply, with the same rights. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
  • Brazil: the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (Law No. 13,709/2018, LGPD, Article 3) applies. You can exercise your rights under its Article 18 at the same email address and complain to the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD).

Children

Notablia is meant for professionals and adults. If you're under 16, please don't send us personal data.

If what we do with data changes, we'll update this policy and its date.
